How to Finger Knit

I did this and then made my dog a sweater with it and he loves it. Thank you so much for teaching me this.
Who else tried this but got their fingers stuck in yarn
Edit: I finally learned how to knit after stress over getting stuck in yarn mess and crochet was a little hard to do
Ok fine I gave up then after a day I tried and tried….This is so fun and easy. I knew how to finger knit before I saw the video, but still it is so 🤩 and fun. It works better with thick string. Also, I competed with my friend one to see who could make the longest one, so definitely try that.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Tip: try to make sure on each finger the thread or whatever you are using is not sliding off. when i first learned to finger knit it kept sliding up and/or off which ruined my peice! keep practicing you’ll get a hang of it
ALSO- if you need to stop just clip it at the end and start the next time when ur ready, and start a new peice. then, when u finish that 1 off, tie that one to the other u had made before.thankyou sooo much!❤🥰 i have wanted to know how to crochet, and it was super easy and pretty!🤩🍄🍯thx again sm!

Just finished high school tooI remember my mum teaching me this when i was 8 honestly it stuck and heres qto my mom for being an artisticly amazing person!
It doesn’t matter how lose I make it,,it keeps getting to tight around my fingers and I can’t move it up anymore😕
I did it different to that, to begin with just 2 loops on the middle finger and little finger, and 1 loop on the index finger and ring finger, then just continue like you do with French knitting, it comes out looking the same has yours

For anybody struggling you can’t also try toilet paper roll French knitting :). It’s pretty much free and easy
If you don’t have needles, just sharpen 2 pencils and use those, or if you have wooden chopsticks (or if they’re already pointy), it works so much better and you’ll get a more attractive product than using this technique
Bonus: you’ll be able to make something useful too…Why am I crying literally whenever I get so frustrated that I can’t do I get so emotional ✋😟
i tried this i failed 3 times and now i finally done it. but i thought my father would be proud which he was not but i’m used to it, now i’m going to make a collar thing because i don’t really know how to make it wide.Idk what im doing wrong but after like 3 of the double loop thingys it gets super tight and I cant loop it over my fingers
Does this differ in process if you are in the U.K. ? Or is it universal in technique – I know crochet differs in the U.K. to the USA
Pro tip: instead of facing the pain of having your fingers tangled in string learn how to crochet ❤️

POV: When ur trying to find a video that makes a bucket hat using fingers or actual sticks cuz u don’t have a crochet stick 6mm but can’t find a video like that :,]So like I did what it says but now I’m left with a small long knitted yarn or idk what’s it called and idk what I’m supposed to do with this meanwhile one of the comments sections literally knitted a whole fking sweater for his Dogg and btw [A LIL PIECE OF ADVICE] if your fingers are getting kinda tight then yk when u wrap those two yarn in your fingers wrap it loosely. Then it gets kinda loose 😉 HOPE IT HELPS<3
